Female VP or not .. Eight is Still Enough

Seriously, did the Republican party think for one second to put a women in the vice president “spot” would insure that ALL women would wave their flour coated hands in the air and declare ” the glass ceiling it is broken .. let’s all troop out and vote to support our so-called liberation?”  Let me just take off my Obama apron, wash my hands and get out to support the “cause”.   Granted, I prefer not to believe everything I read/hear but so far all I have found about Palin is negative.   It does occur to me that those folks that should know her best are the Alaskans and they have been all to happy to share the scoop all over the internet.   There are newspaper articles, fiscal disasters even baby news.   As I shake my head and wait for the boiled eggs to get done I have to look in wonder , but not in awe, at the men in the suits making these decisions.

Bangs head on desk … hello !!

  1. Strong one.

  2. Ahhhh, one of the great problems we have today in American politics is the internet. I hope you don’t believe 95% o what you have read about Ms. Palin. There are hundreds of times that amount of negative “press” to be found about Obama ….. will you read that as well (and believe it as easily?)

The second problem we have is that it seems that NO ONE will take their own time to dig through the congressional records and see how McCain/Obama, or any candidate voted on specific bills that effect you. People want to take the easy way out and have someone “tell” them, complete with SPIN who deserves their vote.

Before you decide, before November 4th, I challenge you to look at their roecords for youself. Stop being told …. it’s all a matter of record.

The Past is ALWAYS indicative of the future.

  3. Thank you for reading my little note and Thank you for your comment !!

Starting with your last point … The past is ALWAYS indicative of the future.
I agree and this is why I back Obama.

You assume I have not done any research? How about the books Palin wanted banned from the library? Censorship? I do not condone censorship.

smiles … I could go on with this but seriously, what is the point Sir? Politics can be a passionate issue and we could go back forth like this for a long time.

Perception can be a truth … and usually is.

  4. I assumed nothing, since you quoted blogs and not congressional records, or other public documents.

As for assumptions, you “assumed” I’m of the male gender. (Sir?) I’m female, with my doctorate in Political Science. Interestingly, that was a very sexist remark.

Additionally, I find it interesting that you don’t condone censorship, yet you must approve all comments on your blog.

I was NOT looking to argue any points that you made, as you will believe what you will, but only to challenge you, like I have challenged thousands of students over the years, to investigate LEGITIMATE sources to get the FACTS that are verifiable.

Be your own person and not a puppet of EITHER campaign or the media.
